Help students get creative!
Reflections is a creative arts competition through the Washington State PTA and National PTA to encourage students to express their creative talents through their own original works.
Reflections helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy (by describing how their art relates to a theme), increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school but in life.
Students create original works of art in response to a theme. The 2026-2027 Reflections theme is “What My Culture Means To Me.”
Heatherwood students can submit entries in any of the six arts areas:
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
Visual Arts
Video or Film Production
Dance Choreography
